More about the speakers
Lisa McAuliffe
I am a Senior Lecturer in Education based in the School of Education and Social Sciences at the University of the West of Scotland. My main teaching and research focus is inclusion. As a member of the Scottish Universities Inclusion Group, I have contributed to the development of the Framework for Inclusion (currently in its third edition), which is a reflective tool for pre- and in-service teachers, aiming to support them in developing inclusive practice. I was one of the founding members of the SERA Inclusive Education Network and have been a convenor since its launch in 2020. A brief overview of the current state of inclusive education in Scotland through the lens of our network can be found here.

More about the Northern Networks
Northern Networks is an exciting new collaboration between the SIGs here at ESAI, the Networks of the Scottish Educational Research Association (SERA) and the Nordic Educational Research Association (NERA). It is designed to foster dialogue and knowledge exchange among the networks within our three organizations – SERA, NERA and ESAI. It involves a series of discussions between the networks on various themes. Each SIG/network will present their work, showcase achievements, discuss challenges, and share future plans.
