ESAI Conference 2020 will take place at the DCU Institute of Education in Drumcondra, Dublin 9.

Car Parking on the DCU St. Patrick’s campus is extremely limited. We strongly advise conference delegates to avail of the strong public transport options (see below) that serve the campus.
The Bonnington Hotel is a short walk away (approximately 10-12 minutes) and have offered an all-day parking rate for conference delegates of €5. Further details at http://www.esai.ie/conference-2020-parking
The IOE is served by a large number of public transport options.
Routes 1, 11, 13, 16, 16c, 16d, 33, 41, 41b, 41c, 41d, 44, and 126 all stop directly outside the Institute.
Drumcondra Rail Station
Located approximately 15 minutes walk away (or a quick 3 minutes on Dublin bus 1, 11, 13, 16, 33, 41, 44 routes). Drumcondra station is served by:
- Intercity trains from/to Sligo
- commuter line from/to Maynooth
- commuter line coming from/to Newbridge & Sallins
From the city, Drumcondra station is accessed by Pearse and Connolly stations. It is particularly useful for those who may arrive at Bus Aras as Connolly station is only a couple of minutes walk from there.
A number of Bus Eireann buses stop outside DCU IOE, pleas check the Bus Eireann website (click here) for routes and timetables.
Private Coach Services
A number of private coach services also stop at/pick up outside DCU IOE.
- Collins Coaches (Monaghan – DCU)
- Matthews’ Coaches (Drogheda/Dundalk – DCU, Bettystown – DCU)
- JJ Kavanagh (Newbridge – Naas – Lucan – Liffey Valley – DCU Glasnevin – DCU St Patrick’s)
DCU IOE is very well located with regard to Dublin Airport. A number of Airport Express services which connect Airport to City Centre (and vice versa) stop/collect at DCU IOE bus stop.
