Please note that parking at the conference venue will be extremely limited, particularly on Friday 3rd April when permit parking and clamping will be in operation. We strongly advise that delegates avail of the plentiful public transport options to get to the venue, details of which can be viewed at http://www.esai.ie/conference-2020-venue
A small number of ParkByText spaces are available on the St. Patrick’s Campus and All Hallow’s Campus (a short walk away). However these are expected to go quickly.
For those who are travelling by car and require parking, we have agreed an all-day discounted parking rate for Friday 3rd April and Saturday 4th April with the nearby Bonnington Hotel (approximately 10-15 minutes walk to the conference venue), and this is the option we recommend to delegates who will be travelling by car. Delegates who wish to avail of this option can park at the hotel using either of the following options:
- Discounted Conference Delegate Rate: In order to avail of this special rate of €5 per day, you must prepay before leaving the hotel once you park your car. Simply call to reception in the hotel once you have parked, tell them that you wish to avail of the ESAI Conference rate, and they will update your ticket accordingly.
- Standard Rate: You can also park at the Bonnington hotel for the standard rate of €9 a day. If you choose this option, there is no need to call to the hotel reception, simply pay at the ticket machine when you are leaving.
On-street Parking: There is a mix of paid and free on-street parking around and close to the conference venue.
Thursday 2nd April: Parking is free in all designated spaces from 3.30pm onwards, but these will be limited in number and available on a first-come-first-served basis. NB: Clamping is in operation for any cars not parked in designated spaces, or parked with no permit during ‘permit only’ hours (8am – 3.30pm).Please note that the DCU All Hallows campus also has parking facilities and is only a short walk away.
Friday 3rd April: Permit parking only from 8am until 3.30pm, with a small number of ParkByText spaces available on-campus. We strongly encourage the use of public transport or parking at the Bonnington Hotel for those attending on Friday 3rd April. Please note that ParkByText spaces are not free at any stage and must be paid for using the rate outlined on signs. NB: Clamping is in operation for any cars not parked in designated spaces, or parked with no permit during ‘permit only’ hours (8am – 3.30pm).
Saturday 4th April: Parking is free in all designated spaces all day, but these will be limited in number and available on a first-come-first-served basis. Due additional events taking place on-campus on Saturday 4th April, we encourage delegates who wish to avail of on-campus parking to arrive as early as possible. Please note that the DCU All Hallows campus also has parking facilities and is only a short walk away, and this is likely to be the most convenient option for parking on Saturday 4th April. Please note that ParkByText spaces are not free at any stage and must be paid for using the rate outlined on signs.
